Thanks again to everyone who attended the WIS Career Fair 2026 last week! We’re inspired by the talent and grit of our members, who showed up ready to make their mark on the industry.

ORGANIZATIONS MENTIONED BY SPEAKERS 

Soccer Forward: U.S. Soccer has officially kicked off a new nationwide effort to make soccer the most accessible, inclusive, and impactful sport in the nation! The Soccer Forward Foundation is the landmark 2026 FIFA World Cup legacy initiative. Serving as the social impact arm of U.S. Soccer, the foundation will deliver on the Federation’s vision that soccer is a force for good. Check out their resource hub here

Street Soccer USA: The mission is to fight poverty and strengthen communities through soccer. The national nonprofit operates in 16 cities (and growing), helping over 75,000 players in some of the country’s most challenging neighborhoods.

Common Goal: The mission is to unite the global football community in tackling the greatest social challenges of our time.

Beyond Sport: This organization  invests in communities, programs, and partnerships that are creating a more progressive world through sport

IDA Sports: A woman-founded and led company that designs cleats exclusively for women athletes. WIS co-founder Rachel La Sala is IDA’s chief operating officer! 

South Bronx United: This organization provides academic support, college prep, mentoring, workforce development, immigration legal services, and more, while using soccer as a vehicle for social change.

Jugamos Juntas: This initiative was founded to provide girls in Mexico City with safe, inclusive, and fun experiences in play and sport.

MLS NEXT x Girls Academy: MLS NEXT has formed a strategic alliance with the Girls Academy (GA), a leading youth development platform for female soccer players in the United States.
