Fill out your WIS playercard and get connecting, you never know who you might meet! Coaches, you might just make a career-changing introduction for one of your players.

GET HYPED FOR YOUR SEASON

Brandi Chastain hosts an interactive event for WIS members quarterly. The debut featured the former University of Florida women’s soccer head coach Becky Burleigh and the DiSC assessment. Watch and learn valuable tools for improving relationships with your team on and off the field. What DISC personality are YOU?

WATCH COACH THE MOVIE 

Check out Coach, a movie that follows Tracy Hamm’s journey to earn the internationally renowned UEFA A license. You’ll be blown away by her grit! Then, inspire your whole squad by doing a team screening of the film followed by a workshop with Tracy. Just email us at [email protected] and we’ll make that a reality.

PRIORITIZE MENTAL WELLNESS 

A magnitude of pressure affects student-athletes…and that’s on top of homework. At WIS we prioritize mental wellness. Follow our content and partner spotlights if you ever need a reminder that you’re a WHOLE person as well as an athlete. We’d recommend starting with the WIS Guide to Mental Health Resources and taking some of the wellness advice from our founding Expert Member Samantha Johnson.

MENTORSHIP

As team players, we all know the value of mentorship. Check out Fearless and Capable, a woman-led business that offers mentorship to college athletes. In addition, Strong Girls United is a nonprofit organization that collaborates with NCAA female athletes to empower the next generation of girls in sports. They currently have opportunities to become a mentor as well as opportunities to start a program at your school.
